When I emailed them asking for an estimate for my coin collection they responded very quickly. After doing more research I quickly discovered many buyers won’t ever take the time out of their day to do this, as if to foreshadow how pleasant working with them was going to be. When we went in to sell the collection it was a phenomenal experience. The store is secure and filled with super interesting collectibles and coins. Their treatment of the collection was great. They were both incredibly knowledgeable and you could tell they knew just about everything their was to know about this business. Most importantly though, they were both fun, interesting, helpful, and they gave us a fantastic price. This store is a rare find. Cant recommend them enough.

I’ve been a fan of this store for years. The guys that own it really enjoy what they do, and their customers (new and old) feel like they’re chatting with old friends. Their fair buy/sell pricing is worth the trip alone. Great little shop in downtown Skokie!

Awesome experience. The staff is very friendly , and they offered me very useful information. When I came in with two rings that I was interested in selling. I ended up selling only one. Decided to keep the other one and pass down in the family. 10/10 I would most certainly come here to sell again.

Highly recommend going to Oakton Coins. I went there with boxes of coins I had inherited. Staff were professional, knowledgeable and experienced. They went through my coins methodically, carefully, and quickly and answered my questions. I was happy with the price I received for my coins. They also practiced Covid precautions which I was grateful for. Check them out!
