The staff was SO helpful- i had put a book on hold but we couldn't find it- staff found it for me

I've been going here since I was a kid, and it's never decreased in quality. It's very clean, and people actually come here to work, study, and use the resources (instead of Chicago and some other libraries that seem like shelters or conversation spaces). The atmosphere is positive and productive, and the library seems like it's community-driven. Unlike Evanston, Oak Lawn, and other burbs, Chicago cardholders can't check out books.

YES , OH YES ! HOW MANY LIBRARIES HAVE A 150 CAPACITY AUDITORIUM ? THAT'S WHAT I TOUGHT ! THIS LIBRARY VENUE IS AN ABSOLUTE TREASURE . I CAME FOR THE 1ST TIME LAST WEEK (10/FEB/2017) . I ATTENDED THE 16TH ANNUAL TOWN HALL MEETING IN ASSOCIATION WITH , TURNING POINT BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CARE CENTER . THE BEST 2.5-HRS. IN RECENT HISTORY . I LEARNED ABOUT SOME BEHIND THE SCENE'S FACTS ON ; LOCAL , COUNTY , STATE AND FEDERAL LEVEL'S . PERTAINING TO : 1》 POLICE & MENTAL HEALTH TRAINING 2》 THE INSANITY ON OUR STATE BUDGET 3》 THE INTEREST LEVELS OF SAID POLOTICIANS AND THEIR FRUSTRATION EXPLAINING THE OBVIOUS IMPASSE 4》 HOW THE DYNAMICS OF MENTAL HEALTH HAS SURVIVED (ALL BE IT ON - - LIFE SUPPORT) , SINCE THE PURGE OF FUNDING 5》 THEN , THE RELATIONSHIP OF CARE (MENTAL HEALTH) IN PRISON VERSUS IN THE COMMUNITY 5》 THAT IS , THE FEDERAL COURT MANDATED ILLINOIS TO PROVIDE MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES TO INMATES . AND THE MEN & WOMEN IN THE COMMUNITIES ARE GETTING CUT I ALSO , LEARNED THAT COMMUNITIES ARE GETTING INVOLVED , MORE ACTIVE AND HAVING A VOICE OF ACTION , AS PER OUR DISTINGUISHED , GUEST'S !
