So friendly and caring. Been there for years and if I lived closer I would go there every time I needed a check!
I have always use Ray and Mary smog test .Their price is reasonable and their service fast but unfortunately this year they are not doing any smog. Drove by and they referred me to a star smog station near by near by. Arrived at advanced on 16th and k and got my car smog. Took about 15mins ,fast and friendly. I recommend to call first to confirm their covid hours . The information that was given to me below could be useful for that. Thank you your help guys!
The owners, Ray and Mary, a husband and wife team, are friendly and personable. We all three share a history of many years living in San Diego. I sat and talked business and local crime with Mary, while Ray smog tested my SUV. It failed. I had a lot on my mind, and had been working 15 or 16 hour days for months. I had forgotten about the Check Engine light. Ray let me know that all indications showed the Thermostat needed to be replaced. I replaced it myself, and the SUV passed on retest.
Was over there recently and looked like they are out of business.
