Small, postage-stamp remnant of the former Crawfish Prairie. Access is via a dirt road sandwiched by cropland, and it may seem like you shouldnt be driving here, but fret not. Ample room to park at the SW corner of the prairie. No maintained trails exist here, but you are likely to find at least a hint of a footpath. Once you make your way in, a surprisingly diverse prairie awaits, with many uncommon to rare species tucked away in widely scattered locations. The best area is the eastern 2/3 of the southern 2/3, if that makes any sense. Best time to visit, probably mid-May through Sept.
