Staff is very friendly, Service is good too, Me and my husband went there and experience was pretty awesome We had an appointment and they opened the gate after asking my name after that they asked us some questions about COVID. Then we went in the next office they asked for my Green card, Application and passport and after 5 minutes they said it’s done. You will receive your card within 2 weeks

I called to ask about my newborn son social security, a lady answered the phone and she started bombarding me like why I didn't call my local office why I called her branch. It was so rude and she didn't heard me at all what I'm asking for. I called on Feb 28/ 2021 at 12:48 PM
Everyone there is really trying come to work and safely do there jobs. MOST issues with these offices has to do with funding of the programs themselves and red tape. Not all of the individuals that show up to work every day.
Work as a mental health skill builder, and when trying to apply for disability with a client we were immediately hung up on by a lady when asking for the difference between SSI and SSDI. Called again a few minutes later to apply and had someone pick up and hang up immediately. Finally the third time calling with a different number we were able to connect to a man after 3 hours and start on the application. Don't know the individual hanging up but this is bad practice considering she's hampering the process for those in serious need of assistance.
my wife went to update her ssn almost 2 months ago because she became a permanent resident but she hasn't receive it yet. i don't know if that takes so long or if something is wrong.
