This is a great park lots of places to picnic, fish and hike. The fall colors were amazing. I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Beautiful place. There are many hiking trails of different distances. Beach to dam is the smallest and simplest trail. Beach is also very beautiful. Restrooms are there near trails and beach. Many picnic benches are there around the place.

A fantastic, family-friendly, place! My significant other and I brought our dog with us to kayak and found it affordable and enjoyable. The water is smooth even with some wind and the majority of the water is open for water sports/ accessories. There is a nice, smaller, beach, available to the public where many children were playing. Beautiful place!

Stayed in the Primitive campground. It is farther than the main activities of the park but beautiful and quiet. There is a boat ramp and a few dock areas to tie up, plus a nice table for cleaning fish. No showers here as stated and most campsites have a slope. The slope is a trade off because it allows everyone a lake view. Shady with plenty of trails and a playground.

Super pretty. Campsites are kinda in a field though and people were walking across our site a lot as a shortcut to theirs. Maybe you will have better luck with your neighbors
