When I picture Shannon’s mind, I see a vast library of sewing knowledge! Some of the books are newer manuals that speak to the latest sewing technology, about which Shannon is always curious and unafraid to embrace. Others are volumes of handed-down tips and tricks that come from years of experience. And of course, there are the brightly colored, richly textured and interestingly shaped portfolios that come from her out of the box creativity. When I picture her mind/library I think – how fortunate we are that she shares all of this with us! I have taken numerous classes from Shannon and worked with her on several projects. She has always been attentive, kind and focused on accessing just the resources that the situation and I need. I encourage everyone with a sewing need to take this rare opportunity to collaborate with someone of Shannon’s caliber.
