If you have been considering buying a groupon or special offer for this boat rental place let me tell you about my experience. My first time I called 2 weeks in advance to schedule a boat I was told that I would have to call back 7 days in advance. Fine, that wasn't stated in the groupon but whatever. so i call back again 7 days in advance to rent a boat when my friends would be in town the following saturday. this time I was told that the boat was rented on both sat and sun but i could pay extra to rent a different boat on those days. I explained to the girl the situation and that i had called two weeks ago, she said sorry and you can pay extra to rent a different boat if you want... In all, I made 4 attempts on non-holiday weekends to book a boat. Each time I called 5-7 days in advance and each time I was told the boat was not available but if I "paid extra" I could get a different boat for the day I requested. Even on the days when i called 7 days in advance the boat was NEVER available. if reservations can only be made 7 days in advance why is the boat never available when i call Saturday MORNING, seven days in advance? If you only want people to use the groupon on a weekdays, then you should state that in the offer. Not make customers jump through hoops or force them to upgrade. I got a refund from groupon and have since used 2 other rental companies in sobe and FTL without problems. I will not be using this company in the future. Just be warned of what you might experience if you use one of their special offers. It was a complete waste of my time and my friends didn't get to experience Miami on the water. fortunately groupon gives refunds if the company turns out to be a dud.
