Great facility to bring cans and bottles for redemption. Definitely beats going to the grocery store or retail setting, and it’s a small business. They have a number of machines which count the cans and bottles quickly and efficiently rather than having to put them in one by one at the grocery store. Staff is friendly and helpful. They also have large containers to help you sort your recyclables. I prefer to separate my aluminum cans from plastic bottles at home and putting them in clear trash bags to bring to the center. If you precount them, you can get in and out even more quickly. Weekends can be busy, so try going during the week if you can. Highly recommend!

Excellent so tired of the Bottle machines at the stores. Excellent staff. Anyone who doesn't rate this 5 stars obviously has not had the experience of returning bottles elsewhere in CT at any grocery store machines

Just as easy as evryone said! Come prepared with your glass bottles / cans / plastic separated and you'll be in and out. We had over 400 cans and we were out in less than 10 minutes. Incredible!! I'll never return our cans to a grocery store again. Just make sure if you're planning to return glass bottles, you bring the box they came in. You cannot return loose glass bottles.

It's really easy to return cans here! They offer large bins to sort your cans and plastic, then you just have to dump the containers into a sorting machine. This is much easier than stacking things into boxes. If you have glass, make sure to bring the box it came in.

I've been using this center for the past 5 years. Each year the efficiency of the redemption process improves. The adding of additional machines, the increase of employees, and clearly displayed directions / instructions have improved the rate at which I'm in and out. Not as time consuming as using a grocery store machine.
