I've never been to this place before but I'm hooked and totally in love!! Fried pickles are the best I've ever had the breading has a unique taste and actually has flavor. The chicken fried steak was divine... Black eyed peas spectacular. The mixed vegetables were cooked just enough they had flavor and a bit of a crunch. The chicken fried chicken salad is the best salad I've ever eaten paired with House made honey mustard dressing. Don't pass this place by make sure you try it out! Thanks y'all!!

My wife introduced me to this place, because she mentioned that their fried okra was the best in town. I was pleasantly surprised by the other things this restaurant had to offer. I was very surprised at the fact that the outside looks so small, but once you come inside, you see how big the place actually is, and that it even includes outside seating! The customer service here is the pinnacle of southern hospitality, and the food options here are incredible. I tried the blackened pasta which was amazing, and the country fried steak is unlike any I've ever tasted. I was most surprised by their bread that they give you. It's a thick, heavy bread, and its really really good, and it is very filling. I can highly assure you, you will need to go boxes in the end. I definitely will come back to try more items from their menu!!
It's rare to get a meal where the cooks aced every part of it, but the staff at this restaurant pulled it off. The food was fantastic! First off, the chicken is the best I've had in Texas (or ever) to this day. Crispy, well-cleaned, flavorful, and the perfect amount of breading. Everything else was on point. Fries, salad, soup, & cornbread were cooked to perfection. My wife loved her meal too. It was an unbelievable value for the quality of food we received. I also wanted to note that the staff was very friendly and professional. I'll definitely be bringing friends and family back here for dinner.
Incredible! Some of the best food I have ever had! Great take out including the presentation, the temperature and taste delicious! We had the Cajun Chicken and Chicken Fried Steak. Entrees include soup or salad and two side dishes. Generous portions. Loved the fresh green salad with homemade dressing. We look forward to eating here again! Thanks for great food and service!
