Fixed my shipping issue with above and beyond customer service! I ordered from Spice Professors for my mom's birthday present. She loves their spices and had recently used up her Chinese five spice and lemon pepper. I ordered at the beginning of Dec. 2020. Unfortunately my package got lost in shipping (It was an issue for sellers all over the country). I reached out to the company and had very prompt responses from Michael. He was helpful, contacted the shipping company and confirmed it was on it's way but delayed. A week later still no package and I had to leave town to get to my parents house. After the holidays, Michael reached out to me to inquire if the package arrived (so proactive! I really appreciated that he followed up) When I said it had not and asked if a new shipment could be sent directly to my mother, he agreed and my mom received her new package within a week. She was so excited to get her new spices and I am very impressed with the level of customer service provided by Michael and the Spice Professors during a stressful holiday season. He went above and beyond to solve a problem he didnt cause or have any control of. I will definitely order from Spice Professors again!

never tried loose tea before.. was walking around in Bryant Park and stopped by the spice professors saw that they were kosher so I stopped by to check it out... them and begin the counter was so nice and informative with all the tea knowledge and let me smell and ask questions about all of them.... ended up getting 3 tins of tea and a filter and I absolutely love them!! ...Will Spread the word! and will be back
You should definitely make a trip out to the store. Amazing products in the store. The teas are very soothing and the spices takes your food to the next level. Most importantly the store has amazing customer service.
I bought two spice mixes and a tea tin from here. I'm so glad we have a place in the neighborhood that sells fresh spices and tea at such an affordable and fair price. The spices are delicious and the tea is wonderful. Will definitely be coming back and highly recommend any person interested in cooking or tea to come here and try this place out!
Had a amazing experience with the spice professors. Came in to there shop on Myrtle ave and loved the concept of getting fresh spices and teas on site.. Michael the owner was amazing to had a lot of knowledge about the spices and was very helpful.. definitely a must try if you are a foodie looking to try new ways of cooking
Great tea and spice store always fresh really have to try their products to understand. There not expensive for what they offer always cook with there spices and there teas are great!
My boyfriend and I were visiting the City a few days ago. It was a bit cold and I wanted some tea. We went into the pop up location at Byrant Park. What a horrible experience we had!! The customer service was poor and that is a nice description. We simply asked the gentleman about the flavors. I wanted a mix of teas. He was rude and made it seem as if it was too unheard of to have two tea bags in one cup of tea, which we were willing to pay for. Nevertheless, we won’t be coming back!! And to add insult to injury as soon as we left the “gentleman” in the location went right on his cell phone. Horrible customer service!!!
Wow! I just bought a bbq blend spice from them at the Greenpoint Market today. Not sure what to expect, but hands down one of the best spice blend I've ever tasted. It made my BBQ pork shoulder taste amazing. Very Impressed.
