My wife and I did the Valentine's Day dinner cruise. We were blown away with how great everything was. When we first boarded we were taken to our private table with a rose and two glasses of champagne. It was really beautiful. The buffet was amazing and had a huge selection. The dessert table was great and had a chocolate cake my wife loved! We ended the night with some drinks and dancing and watching the Statue of Liberty.

We had an amazing time! For the past few weeks, I was trying to figure out what I was doing for my mother’s birthday since our options are limited during these times. I promise you, I made the right choice choosing spirit of New Jersey as the highlight of a birthday celebration! The food, music, hospitality and the ambiance was spot on. Oh and I can’t forget Alex, who was a pleasure to have as our waiter. He was just awesome. He was friendly, patient and all around a cool down to earth person. He even educated us on some landmarks of the great big apple as we were cruising by. We will definitely be returning! See you again next summer, Spirit of New Jersey. You guys rock!!!!
Great service, Antonio was the best. Fabulous views. The staff was so friendly and the food was delicious the chef even came to our table. Just a Great experience.
Had a great time. It's not quite like the Spirit Cruise back in Chicago though they are the same company. I had to remind them it was my birthday. They did give me a bouquet of flowers to make up for it so that was nice. Food was great. Drinks are not worth the price. The sites on the Starlight cruise was great! Music was great! Worth going while in The NJ/NYC area.
This is a good experience for the view of the city. This is a good option to amuse a group with dancing and simple foods so long as your goals are modest. The food was a meager buffet that was not replenished, so the rear of the line scraped the pot bottom or went without. Don't look too closely at the black carpets in the interior.
