Jason and Amanda have a wonderful eye for design, transforming our neglected backyard from a sad gravel pit full of weeds into a beautiful and functional extension of our living space. Amanda immediately recognized how regrading could help us reclaim wasted space due to the oddly sloped ground. Jason's dynamic herringbone design for the patio brickwork became a stunning focal point. Square Root also solved our waterflow problems, helping redirect runoff away from the house as a key part of our flood mitigation efforts. They turned our eyesore of a garage into a backdrop for boxwoods, tree peonies and climbing honeysuckle vines. Jason even built us roomy cedar planter boxes for the vegetable garden we've always wanted. His comprehensive lighting plan means we can enjoy, and entertain in, our backyard at night. The drip irrigation system will make it easy to maintain his elegant, contemporary landscaping. The garden is designed to be enjoyed year round with plants that shine in a fall and winter landscape in addition to flowering perennials. Jason sourced a variety of beautiful plants including some unexpected gems such as the three columnar \tulip trees\ named for their tuliplike blossoms. The multitalented Square Root crew were meticulous about getting each measurement perfect. This company was a dream to work with and we couldn't be happier with the results.
Jason was great to work with and is obviously extremely knowledgeable based on his recommendations for our space. He did an amazing job with the design and implementation of our patio, and the outdoor lighting system he installed looks fantastic and gets so many compliments from our guests and neighbors. The team at Square Root has been making the exterior of my home shine for several years. From the start with a back yard refresh and patio extension to seasonal planters, I am always delighted with their work. The staff is always courteous and neat.
