We recently just got back from a long weekend on one of the house boats. It was an amazing experience, the boats are very clean and spacious as well! The owners made sure that we were prepared and the trip went flawlessly. I cannot recommend them enough. Cant wait to go back next year!

Impeccable up keeping, attentive staff to service your needs at anytime, outstanding storage capacity, luxurious sleeping quarters, and they go above and beyond with the maintenance of sandbars. I had never been on a five-day Mississippi cruise until last week. I have been on cruises before but not where I piloted the craft and my friends cooked. We had a great time. The locks were easy to maneuver, the scenery beautiful, the the time spent with friends was exceptional. We were like Huck Finn and Jim on their trip down the Mississippi. We tied up on sandbars at night and cooked over the fires we made. I do much traveling, but this was the most relaxing vacation I have ever experienced. And our crew would not have been as knowledgeable of what we were doing if it wasn't for the owner and his wife preparing us ahead of time, demonstrating boat and river procedures, and checking with us twice a day by phone to make sure everything was going well. Thanks. We plan to make this an annual pilgrimage! Tim Robinson
S & S Houseboats are amazing! The boats are super nice and clean upon entry. The staff are great and friendly. They are so willing to make it the best experience you can have. We have rented other Houseboats and will never stop choosing S & S! This was our 3rd year and we will continue to rent from S & S! Thanks for making our vacations the best we could ask for!
Such a fun and unique experience! Great for families especially during COVID! We had a blast on the water slide, visiting little sand bars & using the fire pits for s'mores, and cruising down the Mississippi. I was nervous about having enough space because we had 7 adults, 4 kids, and 1 doggo. There was so no need, we had plenty of room to move about and relax wherever. The staff at the doc was so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this and hope our family goes again!
