I’ve taken a necklace and bracelet to be repaired there and they did a wonderful and quick job. The necklace was 10k gold rope chain (so really detailed) that had completely broken and they fixed it perfectly so it’s strong and you can’t even tell where the break even was. The bracelet was just a clasp issue that they fixed right on the spot for me! Both very fair prices for great work. I’m going to be taking all my jewelry to be repaired from here on out!

What a wonderful place this is!! I cannot even start to explain how thankful I am for the wonderful customer service, the exquisite craftsmanship and the impeccable quality of their work. This place is a family affair. They will make your wildest designs come through if you don’t fall in love with one of their in store creations. Best experience! The owners are helpful, personable, and a joy to work with. They helped my fiancé design my custom engagement ring from a smattering of Pinterest pictures I had. Plus, we felt very comfortable with the prices for all that we were getting. Now my fiancé has his wedding ring and is stoked that he has his own ring of power. 10/10. 5 Stars. Can't recommend J A Gerber Jewelers enough.
We had a wonderful experience here. We went for the same day repair service which is great. They also take a very personal and caring approach to each customer and were able to help me replace my wife's watch. We will definitely be going back.
Kind, professional, excellent craftsmanship and very reasonable prices. Took two family heirloom rings to be worked on - one re-sized and another the stone replaced. Completely blown away by their confidence and skill at providing these services in house for me, and trusted them from the minute I walked in and spoke with Rami. You can't even see any hint of where he had to cut and re-connect to resize my father's ring so I can wear it. Ended up buying a vintage silver piece on my way out - fantastic collection of vintage / Native-American jewelry. I can't believe I have been in St Paul for 15 years and did not know such a trustworthy place existed right at 945 Grand Avenue. Go there and appreciate an independent business we are lucky to have here!!
