I have trained at many gyms over the years and I cannot brag enough on Brandon and the entire staff and community here. It is very technically based and welcoming to everyone. As a woman, I have always felt extremely comfortable training here and I would recommend it to anyone, beginner or advanced, who is looking to train BJJ.

Favorite part about this gym is the variety. Variety of people, body types, training styles, demographics, etc. It creates a welcoming and fun environment, plus the option to train hard and see how far you can take it.

Starting Jiu Jitsu at the tender age of 48 with no prior martial art experience at all, I feel incredibly lucky to have found the best Jiu Jitsu school in town!! Coach Brandon and the entire coaching staff have created a fun and exciting environment, where we learn the art of Jiu Jitsu from amazing teachers and training partners who treat everyone with kindness and respect, no matter what your skill level may be. After two years of training and earning my Blue Belt, I am physically and mentally transformed in positive ways that are hard to describe. Jiu Jitsu is now part of my life and I look forward to continuing training with Coach Brandon for as long as I possibly can. Highly recommended! Two thumbs up!!

I have been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for over a decade now, and I have visited several different gyms in that short time. I can say the Academy has an incredible and diverse team atmosphere, with fantastic training partners and friends. The instructor is top notch at explaining things thoroughly, and he has a wealth of valuable knowledge of the art, and a lot of interesting life experiences to go with it. If you are curious about Jiu Jitsu, and looking for a gym that will let you grow at your own pace, this is the place to check out. Highly recommend it!

Awesome rolls today. Instruction by Brandon was top notch and the guys were fun to roll with. Among other techniques, I learned a new twist on the guillotine. There was a very warm welcome at the beginning of class too. The facility feels new with ample mat space. Brandon (the black belt) even stayed after open mat and chatted with me beyond normal closing time. Also, shout to John for inviting me!
