The Xiongs

We are happy with our loans and savings at SPFCU. However, our checking is with a different bank due to the conveniences the other bank offers that's not available at this bank. Below are our experiences with St Paul Federal Credit union: The good: - Great interest rates on loans. \u003c-- They can really help you save money! - Great interest rates on savings accounts. - Tellers are always pleasant. - Bankers are knowledgeable and responsive. The bad: - Online banking and mobile app is OUTDATED, they are in the dark ages compared to other local credit unions (Hiway and Affinity) - Hours are a bit inconvenient if you work a full time job during the day. - Phone and online customer service is horrible, they are basically a messaging service that takes down what you need and then a banker will get back to you.

This bank is a nightmare to deal with. Their technology is behind that of other smaller banks and whoever they contracted their customer service to is garbage. Wait times are long and the customer service agent you get can’t help you anyway. You then have to put in a ticket with a specialist and they will call you back within one business day. If you are trying to do something fairly simple with your account be prepared for it to take a couple of business days. I am looking forward to closing my accounts with this bank. Update: If you truly are the owner I commend you on a quick reply however here I am 24 hrs later and have yet to receive a callback. I find it funny that your solution is the same customer service that I have issues with. Well I tried your solution and called them again this morning for the fourth time this week where I was told that I needed to put in another request to a specialist. It seems that no one has enough access to my account to verify the address that my title is being sent to and to confirm that my automatic payments have been stopped. At this point the lack of quality customer service is becoming comical.

We'll call you back within 24 business hours\. Has been 2 days since i've called and left a voicemail. Called again to inquire about my status and was given the run-around by their call center reps. Won't do business here as they have not been courteous, timely or professional.

Incredibly helpful staff. Been with SPFCU for 2 years, and they have been nothing but helpful. Shout out to Jim and Corbin for helping me with loans the past few years. Excellent customer service!
