We were staying at the resort and wanted to take advantage of the stables to discover the beautiful forest around us. Unfortunately, the personnel at the stables were not up to the standards of a resort. I cannot tell you the name of our guide because she never introduced herself. She never even said \hello\ or \welcome\. She also barely spoke a word to us during the entire two hour tide. She did not give any instructions on what we needed to do on the horses. Zero. She did not even ask if we knew what we were doing. She said absolutely nothing to us during the entire ride (no information about the forest, wildlife, land). She did stop once and point out a deer which was very nice (thus a 2 instead of a 1). She never asked our names, where we were from, or anything else. I tried to engage with her a few times, but this young woman had no interest in us or in passing on any information. I realize that her primary role is not site seeing guide, but rather our safety. However, she did not even do this. Additionally, this is a tourist location. If she does not want to engage with tourists, then I believe it would be better for her to work elsewhere.

What a beautiful way to end our vacation in the mountains. Our ride with Stables at Brasstown Valley Resort and Spa were nothing less than breathtaking. They own the trails and you get to ride through the woods and also open valleys and the views of nature and mountains is absolutely stunning. The horses are very well taken care of, clean, and well trained. Great place to enjoy a relaxing trail ride with wonderful scenary.

Very nice people working there ,it was my grandsons first time on a horse. He is 14 years old and was very nerous but had a great time the horses were very healthy and big in size to hold heavier people thank Goodness lol . Very worth over 2 hour drive just wish the trails were a little better but was fun and relaxing Thank You so much .

Last weekend my mom and I had a great trail ride with Mr. Ronnie as our guide. He was absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable. We enjoyed learning about history, different plants & roots as we rode through the woods. My mom is ready to return. Personally I prefer a shorter ride because of the bugs but it was an awesome experience and we truly enjoyed Mr. Ronnie. I learned a lot.

Ronnie Smith is a fantastic guide. He is knowledgeable and delightful. I have gone on several rides, in several parts of the country, and this was a great ride.
