Coach Boyd has been training my children Laya and Neel for over 4 years. He is the best coach and kids love training with him. It's a fun environment to enjoy learn and excel in badminton.

My daughter is not athletic, but badminton is the only sport she truly enjoys playing. We’re lucky to have found Houston Badminton Academy three years ago, and she has become a faithful member ever since then. HBA has the best coaches and facility! There's also family atmosphere here, and all the coaches are genuinely patient with every one of their team members. Throughout the years, my daughter has acquired great skills and made awesome friends! We love this place wholeheartedly! For anyone who would like to play badminton, entry or advanced, I highly recommend Houston Badminton Academy. Be sure to check it out! You won't be disappointed!
Coach Boyd has coached both my boys over 5 years now. He is an extraordinary teacher who is devoted and inculcates good sportsmanship in the young ones. He trains them very well and the kids become stronger. They learn advanced techniques from him and compete in tournaments too. I would highly recommend Coach Boyd and his training to all!
The Houston Badminton Academy is an excellent place to learn & play badminton. This is the only major academy here in Houston. My son is going to the academy for last 3 Years.? He loves going for training. Coach Boyd takes care of the trainees very well. Boyd himself had been an excellent player. He is very accommodating too.
I've been taking lessons from Coach Boyd for 2 years and he's been a wonderful coach. He's not only good at teaching kids, he corrects many of my bad habits as an adult just starting to learn badminton. Coach Boyd is patient with his students and he tries different ways to make your muscle 'memorize' the correct way of hitting the shuttles. I still have a lot to improve and I know he'll be there to make me a better player.
