Purchased a certified pre owned 2018 Lincoln Navigator from Stamford Lincoln about 7 weeks ago that was having some mechanical issues. The owner of the dealership called me personally to assure me they would fix any problem it was having and if I wasn't happy they would take back the vehicle. The Navigator is running great and I definitely would recommend purchasing from Stamford Lincoln!
They did a nice job backing a defective 2018 Navigator but service has gone downhill. Had our 2019 Navigator in twice recently. The communication was decent but response time wasn’t great. That’s fine given covid but sent the suv back (they’d not balanced the tires so the suv had a shimmy at highway speeds) and they returned it with one tire at 58 psi. An enormous mistake which also revealed no one checked it prior to return. I’ve asked for a phone call to explain two days ago and no response. I think there are issues beyond covid at Stamford Lincoln. Also the Lincoln concierge should be on top of all this and she isn’t. Lincoln is trying to be BMW but my experience at BMW wrt service is far, far better.
I have been going to Stamford Ford Lincoln for many years, leasing a Ford Escape...….They do not disappoint!! The service department is always so professional and completes work in a timely manner. The sales department gets a 5 Star rating and more!! I told them what I could afford (I am retired!) and they did not try to \ wheel and deal\ with me like so many salesmen do! They were understanding and gave me an \OK\ to go right away!! Thank you for your positive approach to everything and also a thank you to the General Manager who came to me with a hand-shake just before I drove away in my new Escape!
