Great place. Owner, Stan, was personable and knowledgeable. Other staff was also very helpful and awesome. Prices very reasonable, compared to others in the area. Don't get on your high horse and shop online or go to big boxed stores, stick with locally owned businesses.

60.00 for rentals at Stans and 15.00 for rentals at the THE POWDER SHACK !! Low quality and stock of rentals at a high price. Staff is not very efficient. You need to pay extra for having your equipment release tested. Which seems it should be a part of any service so that liability is not on the shop should something malfunction. The stock of equipment is so limited it’s rather tragic and sad looking in side. You are best off elsewhere.

I bought ski boots from Stan's with their assistance in selecting a boot. After skiing in them, there were definite issues. I contacted them about adjusting the fit and was told it would be 65/hour plus materials. I would understand this charge if I had bought the boots elsewhere, but buying from a ski shop should entitle you to some service.
