Great store! I have bought a multitude of items from Jay, and have always found him to be very friendly and helpful, and is legitimately interested in helping you make an informed purchase. Prices are the same or cheaper than online. They carry a very wide selection of goods. If you are in the area and looking to buy anything camera, optics, or home theater related, I would highly recommend a visit.

This store is great. The customer service is excellent and Mogil's has a nice inventory of used equipment too! Jay is very knowledgable and helpful. His shop is a bit hard to find but that's how he keeps the prices down - it's right beside the Elk River Gun store on Lincoln Ave. Check it out! Whoever wrote the negative review was having a bad day. I'm going back!

Amazing customer service. I arrived at Steamboat and forgot the charger for my Nikon battery - I called Mogil's on the Mountain.. no problem, they charged my battery for me without any question. Great people. Great Shop. They embody the friendly attitude of the people of the town of Steamboat!

Coolest camera shop I've ever been to, hands down! A real Steamboat gem. I brought in my dysfunctional Olympus OM-2n only to find out a fix wasn't possible. But instead of leaving me stranded, the guys at Mogil's offered me one of their own OM's as a free replacement! They were helpful, knowledgeable, and above all: genuine.

I recently bought a pair of Leica binoculars and I love them. They are crystal clear and provide extended viewing periods in the morning and evening. I cannot wait to use them in the field this hunting season. I worked with the owner Jay and he provided excellent customer service and my order was shipped in a timely manor. This is a fantastic shop for both professionals and amateurs. Jay, the owner, is a super knowledgeable and friendly character. This is like a very traditional/old style camera shop which carries tons of items (new and used), and treats its customers (old and new) with incredible integrity and customer service. Plus you can always come back to see Jay if you have any questions - - try that with your mail order shop. Jay has also called some of the factory reps directly for a couple of questions that I had. That's what I call service! Plus, his prices are competitive with all the (legitimate) on-line stores. I was so impressed with this shop that I bought a new Leica M and accessories. Jay also helped me to sell a bunch of my old Hassy and Nikon gear which was really great. Finally, Jay has a solid national reputation as he has high-end clients all over the country contact him for gear. Quite a testament, I'd say. Bottom line: These guys are great! Great staff! Great service! Great prices! Great after sales support!I Don't know why you would go anywhere else. I recommend highly.
