These guys are Best in the Boat for a reason. We have never had a bad experience here, winter, summer ,shoulder season... they are always so helpful and knowledgeable. The mountain location is just as good as in town...By far the best boot fitting and adjusting we have ever had. We even have our guests rent gear from here. They may not have the massive selection a few other places have, but you know that what you get here will be the best. And they will stand behind it all.

I now have properly fitted boots, recently purchased my second set of skis. The Demo program is great. Several other family members have also purchased boots and skis. Highly recommend to anyone that asks. Customer service is always the best with a most helpful and knowledgeable staff. For me, it is the only ski shop.
I stopped in the downtown location yesterday afternoon. Brian spent over an hour with me, trying a few boots. We settled on Langes that fit really well. I left two pairs of skis that needed remounting. They offered that at half off since I was buying boots. I picked everything up this am. It was all perfect and ready to go. The boots felt great on the snow. Super job and service at a fair price.
I arrived the store pretty late and is close to their close time. The staff there (I forgot her name), however, is really nice and help me to get my ski rental ready (even though I did not have an appointment online on that day). I will definitely come here to rent the ski equipment if I come skiing at steamboat again!!!
I tried several ebikes, in two different sizes, and chatted with salespeople on three occasions before deciding which bike I wanted to buy. All the staff were knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. They checked back with me in a timely manner. It was a great experience, and I'm thrilled to have an ebike! Thanks Steamboat Ski & Bike Kare...we've been customers for 15 years and always appreciate your service and selection.
Jon fitted me for new ski boots this week and it was so easy! I hate getting new boots because I have to go in day after day to get them right, but the boots I bought from Jon fit great after one go around! They really know what they're doing here.
Ski and Bike Kare is the best bike shop I've ever been to! The service is excellent and the staff are very friendly and happy to help answer questions. Whenever I drop my bike off for repairs they take the time to show me what was wrong and how they fixed it. I really appreciate that!
John was very knowledgeable and helped me select and fit a great pair of ski boots.Their stock of clothing is great quality and the things we bought followed us onto the mountain keeping us warm and comfortable.We will be back next time we're in town!
