My family started camping here when I was a child. As an adult, my husband and I also love camping here. We are looking forward to continuing the tradition with our son this summer! The campground is well maintained with beautiful sites and clean restrooms. It's obvious the owners and employees take pride in Bass River Resort!

This place is amazing. Organized staff to get you where you need to be quickly and efficiently and breath-taking views from the resort and river. They offer day parking if you just want to drive up and float and not camp out or rent a cabin. This is still peak time so schedule plenty in advance because they sell out quickly on a lot of different floating vessels.

This rating is for camping. Bass is now an ATV park and not suited gor relaxing camping. Got there on Thursday and ATVs roamed around the entire place blasting music until midnight. They are not obligated to be quiet until 2:30am and the noise easliy carries into the 11pm quiet areas. Go for floating or late night partying, but not family camping.

Clean, nice resort. Overall good experience. The courtois river was extremely crowded. We had to drag our 4 man raft that had my husband and I with a packed avg size Coleman cooler, about 5 times. Apparently there was an annual river float by The Bull radio station. You see it all on the river. Family friendly? The campsites are. They separate the campsites for the quiet section vs party cove! They have a well run organization from what I experienced. I would recommend.

This place is great!! Upon arrival, the cabin we rented just didn’t work for us. So, talking with one of the staffers, Michelle, took it upon herself to help accommodate us. She treated us like family and really cared about our family get away. She made our getaway fantastic!!! This entire staff was beyond courteous. We also were pleased with “slim” on the river. He made sure our little ones were taken care of. Love this place and will be back soon!!

The family friendly float was amazing. The Doe Lodge was perfect for a big group. Wish we could have stayed longer.

I stayed there for a group event and was pleasantly surprised on arrival. The employees were wonderful and the camp store was well-equipped. Check-in was quick and efficient. Unfortunately, the showers which are coin-operated didn't work. Well, technically, water did come out of them, but it was impossible to shower under a pencil thin stream of cold water dropping straight down from the shower head along the wall. We left a day early, since nobody in my party wanted to go three days without a decent shower. They were apparently aware of the issue, but didn't care enough to fix it.
