So happy to have spent my weekend here! The water was clean, clear, and beautiful! Plus, it was the PERFECT temperature for me personally. I had two knee surgeries last year and I have bone spurs, arthritis, herniated discs, and scoliosis in my lower back and that cool water was so completely therapeutic. I felt great all day long and couldn't wait to get back in it the next day! The raft we rented was of the best quality and, brush after tree, I felt safe the entire time. The staff at the store are SUPER friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and helpful. Our site was clean, and the johnny in our area was spotless! I would highly recommend Huzzah Valley Campground to anyone who wants a fun, quality trip.

Excellent place to come relax by the river. They have nice little cabins next to the camp grounds which will sleep up to 8 people. The river is right next to the camp grounds and is very calm. The Little Rock beaches there are great for kids to play without worry of the current. We saw tons of tadpoles and little fish, and of course got lots of swim time in! They also have a great little shop at the entrance in case you forget anything, or want to order a pizza!

Tent camping review (family side of the campground) (we can't comment on anything besides the campground, shower houses and the main building as those were the only places we were at) - they have some nice primitive campsites on the river, but none of them have electric or water. Sites with electric and water, which is where we stayed at, are not very private at all, think trailer park one right after the other, they aren't very wide either so you're always right on top of someone it seems like. (Also on their online reservation site, they state that a lot of the electric and water sites are on the water, that is not true) We were shocked at how old and unclean the shower house / bathrooms / laundry house on the south side of the property were (see attached photographs), the shower house next to the main building was newer and cleaner but still not as clean as they should have been (hairs left on the walls for days), main building where there's a small restaurant, and convenience store is nice and newer and cleaner. There is a new AT&T tower on their property so service and coverage is good here. The staff was fairly friendly most of the time, Daphne was excellent over the phone. While it is camping, I've been to many campgrounds that are so much nicer for much less money (seriously you charge for every person on a single site on top of what you charge for the site?) Bottom line this place could be much nicer for how much money these guys rake in...

Great day on the river! We haven’t been to Huzzah Valley in 5 years. I was very impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of their staff. The check in person was extremely friendly and even called me by name. The young man at the river had a huge smile and was very helpful. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the facilities and the condition of the rafts. I highly recommend spending a day on the river with Huzzah Valley!

It would not be my first choice because it seems like you are right on top of each other when it comes to the electric and water sites in the main park. Across the road did not seem as bad but that camp ground just had a off feeling to it. The staff was friendly and the main bathrooms were clean. Store seemed well stocked.
