Dr. Steven Pierce.. I've had to see him a total of three times. The last time being September 10th 2020.. he took excellent care of me the first two times I saw him. I know he will take good care of me during this particular situation as well. He is a very good Doctor.

When I went my first time ever my apt was set up with dr Pierce and I was 16 because I haven’t started my period yet and he said I didn’t need to get checked they could give me a medicine that would force start my period and the he changed his mind and said he would need to check and my mom said no and so did I bc it wasn’t needed and he called my mom fat and I went today and was very unprofessional and very rude I do not recommend him for anyone!

It's taken me 2 1/2 years to be able to write this review. I was strongly advised to contact the state board about Dr. Pierce and file a malpractice suit, but I chose not to. I went to Dr. Pierce to follow up with some symptoms following extensive abdominal surgery after the Dr that did my surgery left his practice. My first visit with Dr. Pierce was lovely, he was helpful and reassuring. My second appt was a different matter. I was having a lot of hormonal fluctuations due to the nature of the surgery, and I was concerned about it. I also wanted detailed info about the surgery itself because the nurse told me in the hospital that there were issues during the 5 hour procedure, and that I almost died. Dr. Pierce obtained the file from the hospital in time for the 2nd appt. He refused to tell me what was in the file from the surgery when I asked him during the appt. He then told me that there was nothing wrong with me, and that I was mentally disturbed. I was confused by his irritation directed at me, as I tend to be an easy going person, not prone to drama of any sort. After his 4 min with me he left, and I was in shock by his abusive comments. He then yelled for everyone to hear in the hallway what my test results were from my pap smear. I found out later that my hormonal fluctuations, and recovery from my surgery was perfectly normal, and they abated in time; there was NOTHING wrong with my symptoms during my recovery. I still don't know what happened in that surgery; nor do I know what I did to warrant such abuse from Dr Pierce. I was concerned during my appts with him, but I was also calm, polite, and mild mannered. The problem with my experience with this Dr is that I was SO TRAUMATIZED by what had happened, that I refused to see another Dr for over 6 months. And to this day I still have severe panic attacks when I have to go to the Dr.; I didn't have them before I saw him. I still have not been to another OB/GYN.
