The service was not where it should have been. We had to have everything outside.the services were prearranged and paid for long ago so the price for everything was locked in. Thats why my parents pre arranged the way that they did. The mortuary was listed as the beneficiary because when you get the insurance covering the services that is how you have to list it. The insurance over paid the mortuary by over 3000 but the mortuary won't return anything to the family even though none of the services that were my mothers last wish were as she wanted or what she paid for. They instead keep using the excuse that they get to keep everything above the cost because the increase in inflation. The whole point of prearranged is to lock in the cost. And get the services requested where they are requested. Not to make someone have services where their families and friends won't be able to attend and charge for services outside when we paid for services indoor. And closer to home. Thank you for ripping off my mother on her last wishes. Your company has probably done this a lot and got away with it however I will not just let it go like this. You did not provide my mothers last wishes and you should have refunded the family the difference in the cost of services as she paid for everything out of her own pocket when my father passed. Shame on you for taking advantage of people's grief. UPDATE: Now the mortuary is calling me from the collections department telling me that I owe over 7000 . How is that even possible when you were paid for the burial insurance and everything else was paid for in cash by my mother at the time of my father's passing? Its not bad enough that we did not even get the services that we overpaid for but now you want to collect on it twice. How many families have you done this to?

My father in law has been dead for 3 hours and they still havent come to pick him up from my mother in laws living room. Very traumatizing and senseless to have my family wait this long. Only 20 minutes away.

The funeral arrangements were made long before my father died. It has been a month since he died and we have still to receive the Death Certificate. We had his Honors Burial at the Veteran's Cemetery this past Friday and found most of the documentation including Wife's Last name and his address were wrong. I have left several messages with the mortuary, but they do not return my calls.
