Kay Handley

Tophat's a great guitar instructor. Must have alot of teaching experience because he's really good at tailoring lessons to the individual's skill level and pace of learning. I've learned so much about the basic mechanics of handling a guitar from him-stuff you can't get from watching youtube or reading a book.

This guy is unlike anyone at any music shop..opened up when he was closed to show me the perfect gift for my wife..gave me all the accessories I needed to go with it, then told me to take it home..asked for nothing!!! Then later worked out a trade for an old amp I was no longer using anyway..She was delighted with the gift, and hardly puts it down! I got a really heavy old amp out of my way..The Ukulele is very high quality and just beautiful! I couldn't be happier with my first experience, and meeting Top Hat. I will be going there for everything I need from here on out!! Thank you so much!

I rarely venture into the music section of this establishment mainly because I'm a cineaphile. I'm pretty sure I have never walked out of Amoeba without a few dvd's in my hand. I'm addicted to buying movies and sometimes they have unbelievable deals in their clearance section.

Top Hat is an amazing dude. My guitar broke the day before we left to go to the beach, and I really wanted to play while we were down there. He really helped me out, and I even ended up getting a banjo out of the deal! 10/10 recommend, a VERY underrated place
