Wow what a challenge, didn't even know it existed! Just a local poking around. Summer time is a challenge with most rocks being slick with the humidity. The fall/winter would be some great views once the leaves drop

Nice section of the AT. Small parking lot down right off 191, the drive to the lot is super hilly and windy. Most of the trail you're in the shade which is nice, but there are a lot of flies and mosquitoes along the trail. Most of the trail was pretty flat, except for the rocky incline to the top. But the climb wasn't too bad, did it with our 8 and 10 yos. They had no problem with the climbs, they were more annoyed with the flies than anything else. Wasn't sure what to expect at the top, I was half expecting something monumental or a specific landmark indicating you're on \Wolf Rock\ but didn't see anything or maybe just missed it. There are some good high points at the top but nothing imo to say \wow\. From the parking lot to the top was about 4 miles round trip (out and back) we didn't do the loop as indicated on the Alltrails app. We did get to see some white tail deers and the skin of some sort of snake and according to other reviews, up along the rocky top are some snake dens so be careful.
Great lookout with a nice spring at the end of the bypass.
Great views of the landscape and wildlife is beautiful.
Interesting trail
