Original set up and service was good, though the set up fees were a bit high. Their original propane rates beat the competitor, but the very next month their prices went higher than their competitor. We requested to have our account closed in August 2020 (services were no longer needed) and here it is March 2021 and they still have not closed out our account. They picked up our propane tank which had approximately 130 of propane left in the tank that we had purchased. We were told we would be reimbursed for the propane we returned. Our first statement showed a 100 fee that the company kept for restocking the propane we returned. We were not informed of this fee. We were then left with a credit of 30.46 on our account, of which, I have called every month upon closing our account to be reimbursed and they tell me they'll get that taken care of and here we are 7 months later and still no reimbursement. I would give them 5 stars for their delivery service, but 0 stars for how they conduct business. So I think 2 stars is fair enough. I don't recommend them at this point.

I'm giving 5 stars for the tech Spencer and manager Eric who came out and went above and being helping me. They even tried to do another company's job for me. Great guys! Thank you suburban propane.
I live in the mountains. So a lot of the heat here is propane or wood stove. I was helping out an elderly neighbor who had run out of propane, but due to the distance we live from town, I was not gonna be able to make it into suburban propane before they closed. Fortunately I saw a suburban propane truck in the neighborhood and explain my situation to him let them know that the woman had an account with them and was there anything he could do to help us. Eric, dug through his supplies found the right connection pieces and filled up her propane tank for us that night. Thank you Eric for your help. Thanks to you Julie got to stay warm that night.
Very professional and honest about our needs. We over-ordered and they were honest and let us know what we really needed. Very knowledgeable and friendly interaction!
Despite the negative reviews, I decided to go with Suburban Propane and am so glad I did! Eric and Kelley in the office were professional and very responsive. Spencer, the field technician, could not have been nicer and really went the extra mile to place our tank perfectly. This was far and away a much better experience than the company we had used previously. I highly recommend Suburban Propane! Thank you for the great service!!
