We just had the greatest experience at Summit Farm! My daughter’s Girl Scout troop visited the farm this afternoon and it was amazing! The barn was beyond respectful of all Covid precautions! The girls were taught all about horses, horse safety, and then given a ride. Summit Farm was top notch and I would highly recommend it! Thank you again to Ashley, Bri, and the crew who gave us such an awesome experience!!

I have been riding for decades and Summit Farm has excellent instruction, well behaved horses, indoor and outdoor rings with good footing and happy people in a beautiful setting. What more could you want?

In the midst of the pandemic this summer, when parents were struggling to find ways to keep their children both occupied and energized, we were able to provide our daughter with an experience at Summit Farm that will last with her forever! It starts with Ashley who is the owner of Summit Farm, who has been riding horses since she was just 5, and her team lead by Bri that provided for warm, fun and nurturing camp program this summer for children as young as 3 years old and into their early teens. We truly enrolled our daughter on a whim; but we already can see her passion for horse riding and something that as parents we are more than happy to continue at Summit Farms for the years to come. I would highly recommend any parent whose child has a life & respect for animals as well as an interest in horse riding reach out to the team at Summit Farm for an amazing experience that your child will hold close to their hearts!

I purchased the most WONDERFUL horse from Summit Farm in March and I absolutely love him to death! He is so nicely broke and has a beautiful temperament. This guy will do it all. Ashley and her team were warm, professional, and great to work with. I cannot imagine owning any other horse!!

Lovely Day

My mommy purchased me from Ashley Yozzo of Summit Farms via an online auction in September. Mommy was so excited to start riding again after decades out of the saddle. Ashley told her I was super safe and would be perfect for her. Ashley seemed really nice and mommy trusted her. She said that she keeps me on hormones but she keeps all her mares on hormones. Also, she said something about me bucking just before I was about to be shipped but mommy was so excited she just chalked it up to the change in weather. When I arrived and settled in at my new barn I was very, very lazy and refused to go forward. Mommy called Ashley and she said, yes, she can be lazy but just hit her with the crop and she'll go. Well, when mommy hit me I bucked. In fact, I bucked 2 riders off. When mommy called Ashley to say she feared for her 57 year old life, she blamed it on the fact that mommy's trainer did not want to give me hormone medicine. The vet said my hormone level was good and I didn't need drugs. Mommy switched barns in March. The new trainer noticed I couldn't lengthen my stride to the left so she had the vet look at me. It was discovered I had an old injury to my left hind. The vet gave me steroids which led to laminitis. Mommy didn't know I had laminitis before so this was very bad. I was very sick and the trainer and mommy did everything possible to save me but nothing worked. Mommy likes to think of me up in heaven eating all the grass and carrots I can and playing with all the other unicorns. She's so very sorry she couldn't have done more for me because she knows I would have been the best mare for her and we would have lots of fun together. I know she would have done more too if Ashley had been honest and told her the truth so she could have gotten me help :(
