In September, when i decided to get my roof and solar done together, i was determined at first to find a company that do both because i prefer not to deal with 2 companies. I did my research and i came up with a good Local Solar Company ( AWS Solar ) which had a very good reviews. I was hesitant at first to deal with them because they only specialized in Solar but Mr. Tim B. informed me they work with a roofing partner which is highly recommended and gave me the website of the roofing partner for my research. I finally decided to go with AWS solar and its roofing partner thinking good partners will work together well and i was not mistaken. Mr. Tim was really the one who explained to me what i need to know and answer all my questions. I did my homework in my own way but i still need to learn a lot more about solar and he is patient enough to explain it all to me. He would answer my text or phone call asap. The whole process of getting the permit, instillation and initial inspection went well. The workmanship is neat and precise. Their technicians are very well experienced in their specialty. My solar is working well and i couldn't ask for more plus their price is reasonable. I would highly recommend this company to anybody and to my experience, working with a Good Local Company has good benefits in regards to communication and response time. PS: The final inspection process from LADWP is the one that smeared my good experience. The inspector unfortunately failed to submit his report on time which delayed the whole process. I was hoping to complete the whole project before the year 2020 ends but it had reached up to 1/8/2021 to complete!

Outstanding professionals! When I bought my house two years ago, it already had an “overrated” leased solar system installed, so I reached out to a few solar companies to get educated and get some quotes. Out of all AWS was the most helpful, very professional, knowledgeable and very informative, and didn't try to \push\ me into replacing the whole system like some other companies. Had the house not have solar panels installed already, I would have absolutely used them to install a new system. After last years fires we had in the area, I noticed a decrease in energy production, so I reached out to them again. They advised getting the panels washed, as the performance is likely affected due to ash, dust, and other debris. Not only did they do a great job washing the panels – energy production increased by about 15%-20%, but also addressed some other issues with the now 5-year-old system that I wasn’t aware including: replacing a defective bracket, adjusting and tightening a few other, replacing old tie wraps and a number of other things that they pointed out to me. Overall: great people, great company, absolutely recommended!
AWS Solar installed our solar panel system two years ago and it has been performing fantastically! Tim and his team were very professional and responsive to our needs. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking at solar as an option.
After doing a ton of research and hunting I decided to go with AWS. They were offering the best panels, best system, at the best price. Tim was amazing! Super responsive, explained everything and took care of dealing with SCE. They were efficient and professional. The roommates didnt even know the panels had been installed. The system has been active for a year now and I am beyond thrilled with AWS. We are now in the process of looking for another house that currently has Leased panels. I asked Tim to review the contract and to no surprise the lease system is terrible. He has given us a lot to think about moving forward. A year later and AWS is still there to help out. Seriously the best!
Tim and his team at AWS did a fantastic job with our solar install. They explained in detail the entire process, worked closely with the city for our permitting, and kept in constant communication with us through out. Sure enough, we have been paying only the monthly connection fees (10) to the utility company since we are now producing more than we use. Additionally, the tax rebate gave us a huge boost on our taxes for the year. Highly recommend AWS Solar!
