You can't beat the location! The BBQ is plentiful. We've been two years in a row now and will return for a third. It's really fun to see the amazing talent that comes from UVU and the local community! We look forward to watching a great show and watch the sun set over the beautiful mountains. Tip: arrive early if you're sitting on the lawn so you can scout out the best spots!

The Eccles Outdoor Stage was a wonderful event! We saw Oklahoma and enjoyed the songs and cast. The snack bar served wonderful baked goods that are resort priced. The way to get into the outdoor venue is by pulled tractor and lots of mountain walking. Dress in hiking or closed toed shoes. Make sure you put on bug spray. There are quite a few mosquitoes and even with spray managed to get stung. This is not a great venue to attend if you are wheelchair bound or need assistance walking. The venue setting is beautiful and I highly recommend experiencing it.

We go to the Sundance musicals and Bluebird concerts here. The productions are always high quality and enjoyable. Pro-tips: 1) It will be colder than you think. I can't tell you how many times I've seen couples have to get up and leave because they underdressed. The canyon gets cold at night so wear pants and bring sweatshirts, coats, and blankets. 2) if you're planning on being on the grass, get there early. Good spots go fast and not all grass spots are equal. They didn't do a very good job of building a comfortable grass area (hence the 4 instead of 5 stars) and some areas can't see the stage well when people are in front of you. I'd highly recommend bringing a low-sitting camp chair. Way more comfortable than trying to prop yourself up with your hands.

Fabulous! The view behind the stage was just gorgeous and the show was excellent. The staff did a great job getting everyone up and down the hill

Great outdoor setting! I recommend getting your seats in one of the sections with benches, they are closer to the stage. Get your tickets as early as you can for the best seats possible. They partner with UVU theater, those kids were very talented! Lots of fun!

Outdoor stage, benches for seating (usually reserved?) Lawn seating for overflow. Parking is awful. They have multiple lots going up the mountain and will shuttle you down and back to your car. Depending on lines for the shuttle it can take a while.

The outdoors amphitheater at Sundance was beautiful! We sat on the lawn and had a good view. I do recommend that you geat there early if you want to have a great view. We also added the BBQ and enjoyed it.

Oh we love the Sundance outdoor theater!!! What a great escape from the real world. The play was great!! I highly recommend! We just got the lawn seats and got there about 6:45 to hike up and wait until 7:00 then found a great spot to put our short beach chairs.
