We hired Sustainable 9 to do a full remodel and expansion of my home and they exceeded my expectations. It was a large and very complex project and their detailed approach was amazing. But most importantly, their stunning design and their flawless execution of the details were both incredible. Their staff are amazing people too and excellent at communication. We began working with these folks on a design/build, and initially it all sounded great. The rep we worked with seemed professional, and we went through the pre-approval process. Once that was completed, we were informed that they needed us to increase our budget significantly! That was the same reason the prior buyers for the lot we had chosen were sent away. Find another builder! ... In response to owner's reply... We did indeed receive all documents that S9 forwarded to our agent. Likewise, S9 was in communication with our real estate agent (thus, they had a way to contact us). We did get the package that indicated what the typical costs were, and expressed our anticipated budget. I am thankful that we went through the process to learn about home building - so for that, we are grateful. However, I also know that I will never again consider a locked agreement like this. We already found another property, and sincerely hope you do not discount this very honest feedback. Put yourself in the customer's shoes... if you were on that side of the table, you would not like it!
