Our dog loves his dog school! (It's daycare, but he doesn't know that.) He also did great at actually training with Jeri Lynn for group class and Joy for private lessons at home. Gus is a changed dog!

When I first arrived I was told I didn’t have a reservation after speaking by email with an employee a whole month before my departure date and confirming like twice so that made the drop off more stressful (as I was late to my flight) so luckily they found room for my dog... then I didn’t receive any pics or anything or updates the entire week my dog was there. Now I am home and EXTREMELY disappointed. I have boarded my dog a lot of places in the past and never experienced my dog coming home with FLEAS! I do not have fleas and never have had them. But she has them all over and is miserable. Idk if this is normal but like I said this has never happened. So now I have to spend 50 for flea meds. Just upsetting. The whole vibe at Positive Approach was good, and Tanner was extremely professional but I don’t know how she got fleas when she was boarded with no play time and only going out to pee?

I've been taking my dog here since he was 4 months old and we absolutely love Positive Approach! My dog can't wait to see his friends three days a week and it's so nice to see him come home tuckered out and happy. He has a LOT of fur and the groomers are magic as far as I'm concerned. We tried another daycare for about a week trying to save money and they paled in comparison to P.A. If you want to be sure your pup is safe, entertained, loved and happy while you're gone- Positive Approach is the only place in Tacoma to take them!

Great variety of different doggy treats. I came away with raw bones, elk antlers, and several hard chew toys for my two pitbulls that eat cow hooves like soft candy. The store is a little pricey but the selection includes only good quality healthy foods, treats and toys. I don't know anything about their daycare for dogs, grooming or training; I don't use those services, nevertheless, they seemed very well organized and professional. Great store.

Great place of business to bring my dog to. I always call ahead to arrange a walk-in to get my dog's nails trimmed & they can usually fit her in the same day. The groomers care very much about making the experience as Positive as possible for my pup!
