Natasha Gave Adam and I a dance lesson to prepare for the mother and son dance at his wedding. She was absolutely wonderful and professional. Who knew that only 1 lesson would build so much confidence?! And it makes you want more. I highly recommend her. You will not be disappointed. Thank you so much Kitty Boswell

If you haven't been to Studio 6, you need to come! It's honestly hard for me to put into words how much the owners Natasha and Wes have impacted my life over the last 10 months with this place. I have learned and grown so much under their tutelage and made amazing friends. Whatever your experience dancing, S6 will welcome you and embrace you as part of the community. These are some of the loveliest people I have ever met, and I have become healthier both physically and mentally since joining their classes. They also have a great venue if you're looking to book a place. The high school I work for used it for prom and it was perfect.

This venue is one of my favorite places in Tacoma and I've been coming for years. When I'm looking to advance my technical skill, a couple months out of each year I attend Studio 6's Thursday classes, which start at the beginning of each month and then build off of what was covered in the previous week. These classes have been excellent for me and are well worth the value. The Latin dancing event on Friday is friendly and starts with a drop-in beginner lesson. This beginner lesson is an icebreaker and it allows me to go by myself and socialize and dance with lots of people easily later on. As far as the content goes, the beginner lesson mainly serves first-time dancers, and since there are new people every week the content ought to be basic, so it is. They sometimes incorporate more intermediate techniques and technical styling in their beginner lesson, and to me, that is an unexpected bonus. I think some of the critical reviews on here may have misunderstood the purpose of the beginner lesson at the beginning of Latin night on Friday. I've been to many social dance nights from Olympia to Seattle and all of the good ones have a beginner lesson that is basically the same every week with some changes. Wherever you dance, just keep in mind that the focus of that short beginner lesson at the beginning will always be for the brand new dancer trying it out for the first time. A beginner lesson is a wise thing for a venue to include, because even when I skip the beginner lesson I benefit from the friendly atmosphere it establishes.

Small venue but definitely perfect for a fun crowd to dance the night away. Mirrors keep atmosphere exciting.
