Beautiful building inside and air conditioned and clean. The security were polite, thoughtful, and did their jobs well and were considerate.

I think it is supposed to be open to the public. What good is a public court if people don't feel like they are welcome to spectate on justice from the sidelines. It definitely should be a part of sightseeing, maybe adults, maybe no guns? Or booze or drugs or... Lack of decorum? If it's like Alice in Wonderland.! She followed the rabbit down the hole? How far does the hole does it lead? If these Grand institutions needed the people to make the brand of justice authentic, would the people care enough to stare? Look beyond the glass diversions... through the security check point... past the clerks office (stop by there if you want), into the working gears of OUR system. A system that is irrelevant without the people.

Pleasant experience. Remember this is a federal courthouse with metal detectors. (Not a place to really sight see from the inside.)
