Wow. Complaints from this one place goes years back. And it boggles my mind they haven’t improved from then. They need a new management. I am so irritated to a point where I just want to end my life. (Not really)(just a figure of speech) that’s how annoying this place is. Nobody answers the damn phone. And they don’t call back either. Nice. Why bother. Email will basically just make you go round and round. Internet page is terrible. Seems like it was made back in the eary 2000’s by a ten year old (some ten year olds can do better now a days) It is not intuitive at all. With all this negative reviews and they don’t do anything about it? Show this review I’m leaving will most likely go unnoticed. They just don’t care. Now. Going to the office in person, you will get some things done. It’s at about two stars service. Anyhow. I really hope I don’t have to deal with them ever again.

Please specify exactly the return postage required on your website, Or, include the postage as part of Taiwan passport application fee (as for U.S. passport). 45 passport fee PLUS 27 return postage required. In-person pickup is not an option.

This place sucks, they have process issues and they get things done in a very inefficient path. The law in Taiwan is old and broken, it's terrible. It's 2017, not 1917, please improve your system

Website says to send email to TECO LA. Email response says to call. Nobody answers calls. Voicemail says to send email. Follow instructions in voicemail, send another email, receive another email response to call. It's a government death spiral. Pretty sure they just lost my passport and are avoiding me now. It's been a 2 month death spiral. *** Do not send your passport here for verification. Wish they would actually process applications instead of posting dozens of photos of eating turkey on their Facebook page.

I would give them a zero star if I could. This office has remained closed since MARCH!!!! Do they consider providing services to us Taiwanese Americans on-essential\?I have been trying to apply for power of attorney for the past month. Their website is awful. Some of the information at the bottom is blocked by the arrow sign. It's hard to get through to them over the phone. But looking at their website, it seems they have plenty of time and manpower for \community service\. Or it's all propaganda. Maybe they need to change their name to \Taipei Propaganda Agency
