I booked the \Try Clay\ class for my wife's birthday as a surprise - she had wanted for a long time to try throwing clay on a wheel. The garage studio was a lot of fun, and very comfortable. Sue did an excellent job going over the basics with us, and was wonderfully encouraging. If she saw that we were struggling, she also knew right when to let us try in order to learn versus when to step in and help so that we could make progress and it was still fun. My wife and our friends each got to make several complete pieces, and look forward to coming back to paint and glaze them! Very good value, too.

Wonderful class with a patient, well-informed instructor. Intimate classes in a cozy setting made for a very relaxed way to learn pottery on the wheel. Made two beautiful mugs!
Sue is an excellent teacher, getting our hands on the clay right away so we could learn by real hands-on experience from the get go. I absolutely loved this. You will be able to make something that looks pretty decent, even if you've never done pottery ever! So fun.

Sue at Tallahassee Clay Arts was a wonderful teacher! Class sizes are perfect for plenty of hands on help and instruction. I will absolutely be going back.
