This is the best athletic organization our family has been associated with! The coaching methods encourage growth, teammanship, proper risk with reward, determination, leadership, and skill growth in athletes of EVERY LEVEL. They are athlete and family friendly for everyone which is such a refreshing benefit of joining this unique Academy. From young children to adults, everyone is welcome an encouraged to grow as fencers. Our twin 13 year old sons love attending the Tampa Fencing Academy and we enjoy watching their progress from week to week. We HIGHLY recommend this Academy!!

Boyko is a great coach and an even better person. When it comes to Epee coaching in Central FL, no one is better than him.

The teacher is very professional and very qualified....he coached for the Olympics! My son looks forward to go every weekend and has learned soo much just in the first month; glad he is off the Xbox and getting excercise!

TFA is one of the top fencing schools in Florida. It's pretty dramatic when your competition starts going there and suddenly they're better than you are, and go places you don't. Boyko Krastevitch gives outstanding lessons and makes it fun for both kids and adults. He's really kind and calm, smiles a lot, and teaches by encouragement, which can't be said for everyone in the sport. Aside from having won numerous international tournaments in his younger days, he's looked to in Florida, the US, and internationally as a top-notch referee and coach. I know people from Orlando who drive 2 hours each way to train in Tampa. I do this myself sometimes. Beginner or expert, if you are interested in fencing and you can make your way to Boyko's humble studio, do! The studio moved to a location west of the airport a few years back but the location north of the airport still shows up in Google searches as of April 2016. You want 5811 Memorial Highway. The studio is not well signed. It is on the far side of the parking lot, first floor, all the way to the right (the corner studio). --jh--
