I love this store. I bought a typewriter from them a little over a year ago and have been going back and shopping online with them for my stationary needs and for gifts. I recommend them to family and friends looking that something special, a little joy in the things we use everyday. Whether looking for an item for yourself or a gift for another, look here. You will find something wonderful.

My first visit was truly magical, and every visit since has been better and better! This is where you go when you want to experience the joys of being screen free. This place cares so much about helping you find the right writing tools, notebooks, stationery, and more so you can be creative and keep in touch with yourself and others. I love attending their workshops and they have free origami meet ups here too! I always come here when I can't think of a gift to give someone because everything here is unique and suuuuch nice quality. Thanks for keeping Tampa Bay awesome!

Beautifully curated shop for paper lovers, journalling fans, and creative minds. Owners are creative professionals who find gorgeous product lines from around the world. Workshop instructors have huge Instagram followings. I always leave classes inspired and with upscale takeaways. Both of the shops feel like walking into a magazine spread that changes every time you visit. Love, love, love this place!

If you don't read anything else in this review, know this: The Paper Seahorse is a hidden gem in our community. Recently, I got back into journaling. In the process of learning about different creative aspects of it, I ran across the Paper Seahorse while doing a Google search. Due to the pandemic, they are only allowing in-person shopping on the last Saturday of the month by appointment. The timing of my discovery was such that I was able to go in that weekend to look around and the experience did not disappoint! My wife and I were immediately greeted by one of the owners, Tona, who really took the time to understand what we were looking for. After browsing a few minutes, Tona set me up to "test drive" a couple of fountain pens and I left with a Traveler's Brass Fountain Pen. It has been a joy to write with the last couple of weeks. My wife is looking at taking their watercolors journaling class at some point. I will definitely be back to visit the Paper Seahorse again.

Attended a TN gathering; attendees were fab.... BUT, If you leave anything behind... don’t plan on getting it bk! And if you try to get a hold of Tona - The proprietor; emails, Instagram, calls w left messages- don’t anticipate a reply. In addition, prices are much more reasonable at other stationery stores or via the internet.... ex: flow children’s paper lover book is sold at publishers price clearly marked on the edition @ 19.99 ; however after getting home and purchasing several items at this establishment-I reviewed my receipt and was charged 24.00 for the flow children’s paper lover book ? Tried to address the price over charge as it was NOT marked 24.00 on the book, but rather had the published price of 19.99... contacted shop proprietor regarding Price Discrepancy-to no avail / response... Gave it 2 stars ️ bcz the TN meet up was enjoyable bcz of the nice ppl that attended. Otherwise.... if you are looking to purchase items or need to retrieve your OWN items... might be best you skip this stationery store :-(

I used to love stopping by the store for cards for every occasion. Now that I’m sheltering in place, I’ve been using their shop online feature and it’s so easy. I was able to find some new pens for my work from home set up. I will definitely be ordering my office supplies from them indefinitely!

I’ve ordered several times online for delivery to NYC and I adore every interaction. These folks really care about curating high-quality, unique items. Every order came lovingly packaged - one was decorated with hedgehog washi tape which would have made me squeal in delight if I ever did that. :) In short, LOVE this shop. The only bummer is that they seem to go out of stock for a significant percentage of products for a long time. But that’s understandable given the unique, small business-sourced offerings.
