Accidental Sheep

Absolutely phenomenal BJJ facility. The gym itself is always clean, the staff are lovely, and the instructors are amazing teachers and clearly well-versed in their trade. I tried out several BJJ gyms in Tempe before deciding and GDBJJ was easily the best--I would highly recommend training here if you have the opportunity!

Excellent atmosphere to begin or further your martial arts journey. Instructors are first rate and patient with new folks. Polite training partners. Clean facility. I began training at this location because it was convenient and I enjoyed wrestling for fun and exercise. It took me years to comprehend how lucky I was to be training with so many successful competitors. Sometimes you will even find other world class academy owners training here which speaks volumes to the quality of what Gustavo has built.

The culture of the students are hardworking individuals focused on bettering themselves. GD Jiu Jitsu is a top tier jiu jitsu training facility! The atmosphere is very friendly, and the quality and depth of knowledge from all the instructors is excellent. I highly recommend stopping in and checking out the academy!
