First time there. It was a gardener's bucket list place! They didn't have some seeds on the shelf. The gal went back to look and she pulled them out for me. They had a really cool plant out in a planter in the front. She told me what it was AND THEY HAD 2 FOR SALE!!!! Yes they are coming home with me.

I recently moved to Cottage Grove. My friend who lives in Chiloquin told me about the place where she and her husband order their seeds. I decided to check it out, even though December is obviously the off season. It's a charming place to visit, and the lady working there, my mistake for not asking her name, was very happy to share information about classes offered each month. I'm excited to see this charming place in full swing! Oh...all the seeds are non GMO!

Purchased 25lb of sweet corn and a few tomato seeds in January.. Was very disappointed to find the sweet corn seed is not treated. No where on their site does it specify this. After calling customer service they claim all of their seed is untreated. Which is fine, and I understand, BUT SPECIFY THAT SOMEWHERE!! Also the seed testing date was for FEB '20. so it's almost a year out of date. And germination rates fall drastically after a year. After two phone calls with this company, my only "options" are :. Keep the seed that will probably mold and not grow in my soil type (if they even germinate at all ). Or pay 75 to ship the seeds back. Very disappointed in this company. Describe your products accurately and admit your mistakes and make them right. If non of your seeds are treated, be proud of that choice and describe your products that way. Don't sell out dated seed hoping the customer doesn't notice..

I place an order in January and was told it would ship in 10-14 days. Six weeks later I inquired about the order and was told it was being held for one packet of seeds. They promised to ship the first week of March so I waited to the 8th and inquired again. They told me it was being held for, get this, a different packet of seeds. I would normally start some of these seeds in the middle of February but now I won't even get them until the middle of March. I'm definitely finding a different supplier next year. I can forgive a lot but not being lied to.

Locally grown seeds for gardens in the Willamette Valley. Good selection of many food plants including blueberries.
