I see this service has received a few positive reviews, and It's great these customers were satisfied with the service. My experience with TEWKSBURY NOTARY SERVICE, however, was far different. As I am power of attorney for my parents, I simply needed a quick verification of my signature for a loan modification document. AFTER starting to fill out the document in ink, this individual questioned something, and said he couldn't notarize the document. It's fine if TEWKSBURY NOTARY SERVICE wants to \play\ attorney, however, please do so PRIOR to marking the master document! Had to request another copy of the original signature page from the mortgage company, and found another local professional notary service. The other notary service said the paperwork was perfectly legal, and notarized the documents. If TEWKSBURY NOTARY SERVICE wants to have an opinion regarding the legality of a document, please get a law degree and pass the bar! AND please don't begin to notarize legal documents until you have \completely\ reviewed them!
TEWKSBURY MA NOTARY SERVICE has referred to me as a TROLL for posting a negative review of my bad experience with them. That right there should tell you something about the company! AFTER MARKING UP THE MASTER COPY OF MY DOCUMENT, the owner informed me he couldn't notarize my document, and I was forced to request another \clean\ copy from the mortgage company. TEWKSBURY MA NOTARY SERVICE asked me to check my records and to show a receipt as proof of my visit. Of course, as the transaction couldn't be completed, I wouldn't have a copy of the receipt! The only one that needs to do anything is TEWKSBURY MA NOTARY SERVICE, and they can start by conducting themselves in a professional manner! Luckily, there are many other professional notary services in the area.
I needed a last minute notary in North Andover so I called that day to set up an appointment for after work. The notary called me before he arrived and was right on time.
