Usually, our experiences here have been good, however, this instance was not. We got seated right away, but then waited nearly 45 minutes before a waitress came to get our order. Once the order was in, it took another 20 minutes to get our appetizer. And the food came out maybe 15 minutes after. The whole experience was 2 hours from sit to check. I have a few suggestions for the owners of the Thai Valley Restaurant to make this place run a little better. It was the day before a major holiday (Feb 14th) and there were only two wait staff. They were doing everything from running food and taking orders and drinks, to putting together pickup orders and taking phone calls. You definitely need to have more staff there during bigger holidays like that. Have someone dedicated for takeout and another helping take orders or just doing drinks and running food. I believe our waiter was on break when we got there because we did not see her until the 30 minute mark. There should have been someone filling in for her, or just not seat anyone on that side until she was back. This was by far the worst experience I've had at Thai Valley. I'm giving two stars for two reasons. 1. I know they can do better with time management and staffing if they hire more people. 2. The food was hot and delicious.

I absolutely love this place. Don’t let the outside of the shopping complex stop you from getting some of the best Thai food in WV. My favorite dishes are the Shrimp Pad Thai and Tom Yum soup. I tried Beef Pad Thai for the first time and it was amazing ️.
Clean, super friendly! Food made to order & was fantastic! Waitress was extremely knowledgeable & attentive! Social distancing practiced. A def recommended

Was pretty okay. I don't think I made the right menu choices, so I'm willing to give them another try. Will edit this post after a second attempt.
