A big thank you to Marci & the entire team @ the Bronx Equestrian Center. We booked them for my daughter's wedding as a surprise to her. I've been in the Wedding Industry for 35 years and they were extremely courteous, professional and showed up extremely early for pics.

I dont really want to talk bad about it but it was a little rough. Lots of bees, flying insects. The owner was talking crazy to the staff infront of the guest. (The guys walking the ponys around with the kids) it they stopped for any reason he came out of the office and went nuts telling them to keep moving and dont stop. Folks were trying to take a picture of their kids. Thr yelling at the staff was cringeworthy and unnecessary. The horses look like they have seen better days. Honestly it looks like its not really well kept, maybe it was in the past but dont know. The guys and gal walking the kids around on thr ponys were really friendly and nice. Also there wasnt any real order. You come in and pay and wait for your horse but so is everyone else but I guess the owner remembers so he says who goes. But I wont go back. If you want to take your kids on a few rides around the pin for a pony ride if your in the city island or Orchard beach area then stop in. But better go early before everyone comes with the kids and your waiting.
Good facilities with calm paced riding horses, western or english styles. They go on roads and along a safe trail with an instructor leading. Reasonable pricing for multiple visits and informative staff.
Great escape from the city in the city! The wooded trail is so relaxing. Good steady happy horses & staff. Very well priced.
I usually go here for my 5 yr old daughter to enjoy the pony rides. Today I went for a trail ride which was great. The instructor for my group was Lindsey, who was amazing. She made sure all riders was good and so was the horses on the ride. We seen some deers and had fantastic instructions on how to guide our horses through. Thank you to Lindsey and the rest of the staff and most importantly thank you to the beautiful horses for allowing us to ride them. Can't wait to go back.
