I love this place! Jonathan is an amazing guitar teacher and Norm is a funny guitar repair guy. I will only go here if I need any guitar repairs. Norm will explain in detail what's wrong with the guitar and how these things can happen. He will tell you want seems unnecessary to fix and helps you save money. Norm is the best!

Fantastic local music store. Staff is wonderful! As a guitar player I wish they carried more ame\ brands but their guitar repair shop, as of late, is second to none. Its like getting a new guitar after Norm works on them. Absolute happy customer here!

The Center of Music and Art is my go-to place in the Ohio Valley to have all my instruments set up and repaired. Since I moved to Steubenville from Pittsburgh it has been the local store that I shop at for all my musical needs. Recently I have had Norm Keyser, who is the resident Guitar Repair Technician, work on a few of my guitars. Working with Norm has been a great experience. He takes the time to look over the instrument and explain what work is needed and provides an honest estimate and completion time and date. This type of interaction and communication Is somewhat of a lost art these days in the Guitar Repair Technician business. At any rate, if you are also looking for quality customer service when inquiring about musical equipment, band instruction, and some guidance with Art/Drama instruction, do not hesitate to take a ride out to the Center of Music. They know “The Arts”

I took my 20 yard sale purchase electric guitar (it was a mess)there . I had little hopes of a working practice guitar. 2 days later Norm (the Miracle Worker) Keyser had my guitar ready.....Wow what a difference.... Friendly ....reasonably priced repairs. Friendly staff. Thanks Again.
