I want to start by stating that the Compound has relatively affordable prices and a friendly environment. However, I have never seen an owner more hungry to up sale customers. My first experience with the shop was my sister purchasing her first pair of skis. The owner gave her package deal \special price\ and when she went to check out he ended up ringing her up for over 50 to the price they agreed upon. Eventually, she spoke up and questioned the price. He played it off like he forgot even though he stated the price multiple times. The last time I went to his shop, I wanted to get my skis waxed. According to the site, there is no difference besides a 15 price increase. When I got to the shop he refused to wax them stating they needed to be tuned. But what are the differences between the two? Nothing. Nice selection, friendly employees, greasy owner. My Response: Your response to my review says everything anyone needs to know about how you run your business. It is not about the 15, it is about the deception and poor customer service. I will not be returning. The Owner deleted his original response, so here it is. Thank you,
