I called nearly 20 different plumbers and plumbing companies to run a gas line from our basement to our kitchen on the main floor and the plumber either refused the job, didn’t show up for their scheduled job, or quoted an absurd price. I was so disheartened until I called The Gas Connection and they quoted a reasonable price and laid out the pricing estimate simply and fairly. They got me on the schedule right away since it is a small and straightforward job. I am so happy that I saw someone reference The Gas Connection on NextDoor, I only wish I would have called them first! I hope the installation ends up being as simple and easy as the estimate and scheduling process but I have confidence that this company knows what they are doing and will make me happy.

Ran outdoor gas line from meter to back of house to feed deck fireplace and new basement gas stove. Pipe was painted to match our house color and was fitted tight to the artificial stone and underside deck ceiling. Work was done exactly as I specified and was exceptionally neat. Team was friendly and left the site clean. These guys are definitely the PROFESSIONALS!
If you need a repair to any of your existing gas lines (and you will eventually) I would highly recommend The Gas Connection. They are professional and very responsive. We recently had our fireplace replaced, and after installation our shut off valve was found to have a small leak. They came out the same day and replaced the shut off valve so that our project could continue. Techs were awesome ! Will use them again in the future.
Great experience all around. I've only needed gas work done twice. Once in the 1980's and once just recently. The Gas Connection was just starting out the first time and it's great to see the company has grown to what it is today. I would not call any other company for my \gas connection\ needs. I originally called The Gas Connection six years ago to see if it would even be possible to run a gas line from the furnace room located in our finished basement all the way up to our main level, over to the kitchen and come out in the opening for the range. I explained what I wanted over the phone and they said that they could make that happen for me! When the guys arrived they went right to work. They were very efficient, and knowledgeable completing the job with minimal drywall repairs, one perfect 6” x 6” square. Before I knew it the gas line was in and they were connecting my brand new gas range! I was so impressed with The Gas Connection that I kept their invoice in my “Best Home Repair Company’s folder”. When we decided to convert our fireplace to gas, without hesitation I pulled out their invoice called them and Mike came out and went over our options. Communication with this company is amazing. Mike was able to show me what needed to be done, the optimal size and type log set I should order. He gave me three company names and told me that the main difference between them is how the log set looks. Once I receive our gas log set I will be calling “The Gas Connection” to get on their books for the installation. Excellent company, excellent customer service and excellent workmanship! I would highly recommend them for any gas project you may need.
