Commando !

Great store. Repaired my Walthers Proto SP E9A. They don't have a huge collection, but it is a pretty good one, with lots of track. They also have a pretty nice model layout.

Toy train hobby shop. Great place to pick up a starter set and speak with employees who are very knowledgeable and available to provide guidance and advice. No room on the floor? The shop can even assist with having your train set hang from the ceiling.

I have been a customer of the Whistle Stop for 40 years. I have never been in a hobby store with such a wide selection of railroad books, kits, parts, as well as new and used brass. The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The store's focus is on model trains (I don't think they carry anything else). There are also many not-for-sale items on display for your enjoyment. The owners, Fred and Judy Hill, are *very* involved in the model railroad industry, as well as preservation, and have hosted several national conventions. You really can't go wrong by visiting this great store and you will find it very hard to leave empty-handed or with more than you came for.
